Strongly believing that academic knowledge needs to be communicated, Valentina Bruccoleri delivers lectures and talks that wish to combine solid scientific content with engaging story-telling. 

 

The topics of her talks and lectures are related to Chinese and Islamic art, with a particular focus on material culture, porcelain and jewelry. More generally, she speaks about art, history and luxury to private institutions and luxury brands. 

 

She has lectured for many academic institutions such as Sorbonne University, the École du Louvre and the Catholic Institute in Paris, Ca’ Foscari University in Venice and Nanjing University. She has also delivered talks for specialists and the general public for Christie’s in Paris and London, the Friends of the Cernuschi Museum in Paris and the Oriental Ceramic Society in London.
